The Joint Advanced Student School (JASS) in St. Petersburg (Russia) took place from 18th to 24th of March 2012 in cooperation between St. Petersburg Academic University and Technische Universität München (TUM).
The chair was involved in course 2 - Usability Engineering and Ubiquitous Computing. 13 students, 6 from Germany and 7 from Russia, organized in 3 intercultural teams, developed 3 great iOS applications iTravel, iTranslate and BumpWatch in less than one week. Developing and managing software is always on the move. Continuously growing complexity and shortened development cycles require flexibility, new ideas and courage to challenge traditional approaches. This is what we aim in research and teaching. |
