12 amazing small games made it into the iOS AppStore! They were developed in the Seminar Games Development with iOS (WS13/14) and are based on iOS 7 and SpriteKit.

1 on 1 Soccer

1on1 Soccer is a multiplayer soccer game that can be played against a friend on the same device via split screen! (by Thomas Krex and Chen Wenwen)

Calc(H)it

In Calc(H)it you solve mathematical equations by selecting the correct bubbles in a limited amount of time! (by Ralf Glawe and Andreas Hofbauer)

Fast Road

FastRoad is a game for car race lovers. Do not collide with traffic and drive as many miles as possible! (by Fabian Isele and Shatki Saxena)

Forest Defense

Forest Defense is a casual defense game where evil humans assault your forest with monstrous diggers. (by Nikolaos Tzioras and Roman Maier)

Hexedrez

Hexedrez is a turn-based board game. Its name is a combination of hexagon and ajedrez (Spanish for chess). (by Maximilian Tharr and Paul Tolstoi)

Jumpy Jump

Keep Space Monkey alive by jumping through space! Beware of rocks! (by Adrian Haarbach and Rishigesh Murugesh)

The Mazy Escape

The Mazy Escape is an adaptation of the dexterity game Labyrinth. Navigate through the maze to escape it! (by Artur Grunau and Emilia Markovska)

No Operation

No Operation is our take on the Twin-Stick Shooter Genre. Control an aircraft and survive as long as possible. (by Andreas Reiser and Benjamin Schagerl)

Project Neon

Project Neon is a mixture of pinball and physics. Apply impulses on the ball to destroy all bricks! (by Julius Appelhagen and Max Wandinger)

Spinsane

SpInsane is a single player puzzle game. The goal is to line up four or more items of the same color. (by Nadine Frankenberg and Ulrich Konrad)

Tomato

Tomato Splash is a combination of strategy and action-game. Throw tomatoes on your enemies! (by Benjamin Strobel and Martin Schwörer)

Trikon

TRIcon is a fun game with immense addiction factor. Control a ship via motion over a deep abyss! (by Alexander Bielski and Timm Beckmann)

Seminar Games Development with iOS (WS13/14)

We offer the Seminar Games Development with iOS again in the winter term 2013/14 as block course in the first 2 weeks of October 2013. Interested students can apply for it by filling out the application form on the course page starting on Wednesday, June 26, 11:00 am.

In the first week of the seminar we introduce Objective-C, Xcode 5 and iOS 7 and students learn how to develop games using Apple's powerful iOS frameworks like SpriteKit. In the second week students develop their first game for iOS (supported by experienced supervisors and tutors), demonstrate and publish it into the iOS App Store.

Application for Seminar Games Development (SS13) is now possible

The Seminar Games Development with iOS will be offered again in the summer term 2013. Interested students can apply for it by filling out the application form on the course page.

In the first two weeks of April 2013, the seminar is held as a block course before the lectures start. Students first learn in interactive presentations how to work with Xcode 4.6 and how to program in Objective-C.
